PHS Hubs
The Hubs
The PHS Hub is a drop-in pharmacy style ‘hub’. Our vision is that 'hubs' will be as commonplace as pharmacies, based in places which are accessible to the masses. We’ve piloted a drop in ‘community’ wellbeing hub - where people freely access classes, workshops, advice, education and support. The consensus from the community via our live survey and from direct feedback, is that The PHS Hub is much needed within the community.
Accessibility is critical. Many people don’t know where to turn when it comes to learning how to take care of their stress levels, anxiety and wellbeing. They’re looking for an alternative to medication, they want to learn how to take care of themselves – but they have no-where to go.
Designed by the community for the community
We wanted the hub to be somewhere that people came, over the 6 weeks we have asked the community to work with us to ensure we created what the community wanted. People have got involved and come in to tell us about what they want from the PHS Hub.
Our intention is to use the insights and data collected from the 6 weeks at our hub, alongside our live survey findings which cement the need for a trusted place where people from all walks of life can access preventative healthcare advice around nutrition, sleep, relaxation, breathing, general stress management and wellbeing support.
You can still get involved. Tell us what you would want from a PHS Hub by completing our anonymous ‘PHS Wellbeing and Health Survey’. The insights gleaned will help us to build a solution for the community, by the community. Click here to take the PHS Survey. (It only takes a few minutes).
