What is The PHS Program?

The Preventative Healthcare Service (PHS) via PHS Practitioners delivers the 'PHS Stress Management Program' - an online program of 6 cohesive modules available via mobile or desktop. 24/7 - 365 days a yar.

The PHS Program covers basic yet vital aspects including nutrition, sleep, breathing, stretch and movement and relaxation techniques - all delivered by qualified practitioners. It is designed to re-empower the community to learn how to cope and manage with the challenges of living in the high stress and fast paced world that we today live in.

Who is right for the PHS Program?

The Preventative Healthcare Service (PHS) Stress Management Program is ideal for people who are showing initial signs of stress, to continued signs of severe stress and anxiety. The stress and anxiety may have got to such a point where they are finding it difficult to function. The Program can be offered as an alternative solution to try before people start medication - or whilst they are waiting on long waiting lists for future intervention. The participant always has a choice and for those people looking for some support other to medication, or a way to better manage how they’re feeling generally, with or without medication - the Program offers practical support, helping people to learn coping strategies and access resources to help them take care of themselves.

What happens after the PHS Program?

The Preventative Healthcare Service (PHS) Program has 6 modules and a suite of resources. During the program, participants will be learning techniques, taking on board education and understanding and being given direct access to resources in how to better manage stress and anxiety – helping them to take care of their own mental and physical well-being. Once the program ends, each participant has the opportunity to reassess how they are feeling, and the insights, progress they’ve made. They will either continue independently with the resources and techniques they have learned. Or they may feel that they still need additional support – either from their GP or from another source, such as seeing a nutritionist or taking up a regular yoga class.

How many people are on the Program at any one time?

The online Program is designed to deliver all the benefits of the face to face community program but at scale. Ideal for GP practices with significant numbers of patients and corporate organisations.

Making the ability to 'take care of yourself' accessible to the everyman.
